The project tests and develops biological methods to make nutrient reserves accumulated in agricultural soil more available to crops and aims to reduce economic dependence on mineral fertilizers and the associated environmental load on water bodies. It is being implemented by the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) and Pyhäjärvi Institute in collaboration with the companies Vihreä Härkä and Kauppapuutarha Verso. The project has received funding from Makera Farm Development Fund.
