Green future of Satakunta was set up to respond to local food companies’ interest in enhancing their future production. The main focus is in acquiring further knowledge and new methods for the primary sector through tailored pilots, and thus enhancing the value chains of food production.
The project includes four work packages:
1. The development of farming methods for lavender, rosemary and nettle production,
2. The development of cauliflower farming for industrial processes,
3. The development of legume farming
4. The development of vertical farming of lettuce.
