Innovative and Evolving Food Entrepreneurship in Southwest Finland

The project “Innovative and Evolving Food Entrepreneurship in Southwest Finland” aims to strengthen the competitiveness of food-sector enterprises in the region by opening new sales channels and enhancing business expertise through mentoring.

The project involves the creation of a practical, raw-material-based experimentation environment that supports the ideation, testing, and commercialization of new products. It highlights the expertise within the Southwest Finnish food sector and bolsters its vitality, visibility, and appeal through strategic communication. It’s not for nothing that this is the most formidable region in Finland!

The primary target group for the project consists of food-sector enterprises located in the rural areas of Southwest Finland, commercial distribution channels, and operators linked to the tourism industry.

The project is coordinated by Pyhäjärvi Institute. Its co-implementing partners are the Municipality of Kimitoön (Kemiönsaari), Ukipolis Oy, the Novida Vocational College and Upper Secondary School (Southwest Finland Vocational Education and Training Consortium), and Raseko (Raisio Region Vocational Education and Training Consortium).
