Tämä julkaisu on koottu Pyhäjärvi-instituutissa “Satakunta – Innovation and research network in changing climate – case crayfish” -hankkeen, tuttavallisemmin RAPU-hankkeen, loppuraporttina. Hankkeen keskeisenä tehtävänä oli Satakunnan tutkimuksellisen vetovoimaisuuden lisääminen, jo luotujen kansainvälisten tutkimusyhteistyöverkostojen vahvistaminen ja uusien luominen, erityisesti raputalouden uhkien ja mahdollisuuksien selvittämiseksi. Hankkeen aikana on aktiivisesti syvennetty asiantuntijayhteistyötä erilaisissa seminaareissa ja työpajoissa. Toimintatapoihin ovat kuuluneet asiantuntijatyöpajat, toimijahaastattelut, kansainväliset konferenssit ja tutkijavierailut ja tutkimusaineistojen vertailu.
